HISTORY / TECHNICAL / OTHER ACTIVITIES

We are available to come into schools to work with the children on large or small projects. We can work with a small group or the whole class on topics which fit into the National Curriculum, after discussions with the school.

We have helped teachers to develop their own pottery skills and have led several INSET courses.

We are also equipped for schools to visit the pottery, which normally includes a demonstration of pottery techniques and an opportunity for the children to make something. (Max attendance: 30)

Other organisations, adult or child-based, can also visit the pottery in the evening. In the past we have catered for WI groups, farmers' clubs and uniformed organisations.

All the staff have enhanced CRB checks.
